BAF Contracting

The business, which is based at Cleator in Cumbria, offers plant hire, groundworks, civils, and haulage services, as well as servicing for HGVs from its on-site workshop.

The business is run by Ben Finlinson and Amy Edwards, with Ben working on site managing projects and the team on the ground, and Amy looking after the haulage and plant hire side of the business, as well as the office administration and finance.

BAF Contracting currently runs four wagons as part of its haulage business, which operates out of its base at the former Kangol Factory. The firm also offers a 24/7 breakdown callout service as well as plant inspections, services and MOT preps.

We run out own fleet of wagons here at BAF, from 8-Wheeler Tippers to 44 Ton Artics – capable of hauling various materials such as dry aggregates, tarmac (shooted wagons available) rock armor and lots more.
