B.A.F. Contracting and Services was founded in February 2014 by Ben Finlinson, who is the Managing Director and Owner of the business.
Ben served his time as a HGV and Plant Mechanic at Thomas Armstrong’s and now being fully qualified for over 10 years we can confidently provide our 24/7 breakdown callout service, as well as plant inspections, services and MOT preps to customers and clients.
Ben has always shown an interest in all types of machinery from a young age and since the business started in 2014 Ben has developed and built up his own fleet of diggers, wagons, vans, as well as other small equipment, this is an ongoing and forever expanding fleet.
Having the highly maintained plant and equipment that Ben has today, has enabled us to quote for and win some highly skilled jobs and making the B.A.F. Contracting and Services name stronger and more established within Cumbria.
Amy now works along side Ben to run the finanical aspects of the business and Manage the Wagons and the haulage side of the business.
Growing at the rate we currently are it was noted that we needed somewhere of our own, so from parking in a farm yard to now operating out of our own secured yard where the former Kangol Factory once operated in Cleator, where we also have our indoor garage equipped with lifts suitable for HGV’s, as well as private office and meeting space!
